Needs some info/opinions on my 93 4R

And Aisin hubs are on...

Really quick job to do..but get a decent torque wrench. I ruined all the dial face bolts and need to replace them all because they were over-torqued..

I also removed all the chrome from around the wheel wells..no pic of that yet but looks pretty good. Need to buff out the paint some.

so those are 67's?

Settled on a 15deg upward angle, so there is about 1/2 an inch from bottom of door to the slider when I open the door. I think it looks great. Painted with Rustoleum...for now..might do bedliner later if I decide to line the inner wheel wells also.
Sorry she is dirty..it was gonna rain today so I skipper her bath.

I think I really need to take the chrome trim off the fenders now..

Yep.
Turns out the reason they say 58 is cause the 67 covers some little bit that front mudflaps need to connect. I am sure something can be done to modify that, so I am not concerned.
67" looks good. Need some pics of the side, when I can get off work and it is not pitch black out.

The front mud flaps? Who needs em.

I had similar sliders on my 2010 Tacoma and as it happens, the bars going to the frame create a perfect stone/mud guard for the door anyway.

But please do post some more pics.... One from the ground looking up and in especially please

Hard to tell from this view, they are angled up..I shoulda took pics on the rack. I am more concerned with rear flaps than front ones so it all works for me not having them.
Planning on the rear bumper next, not gonna fix the body damage to my rear, just bolt up a TG bumper and weld some points to the frame to reinforce and call it a day.

This weekend....

Took the rear bumper off. It was all banged up from the accident the PO had in it that caused the salvage title. I snapped some pics..and some pics of the tires sticking out without chrome trip around wheel wells, sliders, and the body damage from PO that I am still trying to decide if I should waste money fixing.
The exhaust pipe looks like a sore thumb now. I also had to remove all the hardware for the spare tire, including the frame that surrounds it. All for sale BTW..lol

Excuse the rain spots..I had just washed and waxed her and it sprinkled like the next day...

$20 bucks for a muffler shop to redo the exhaust. They can cut and put on a new exit pipe tucked up.

They have it in several backspace measurements (If I am saying that right). I am able to put 32's on these rims later, if I choose too.

I am actually saving for either the Marlin or TG bumper..then I plan on doing new cat, muffler and pipe...I am pretty sure all my exhaust if original, believe it or not. I have a great Toyota shop here in town and he thought it was all original when he had it on the lift welding on the sliders.

CB mount in this weekend

I bought and installed all the stuff for my CB. I had bought a Cobra 29 off of ebay but I got ripped. Guy said it worked but doesn't, no returns and no recourse..learned my lesson.
Anyway, drilled 4 holes in side of bed, ran coax through my taillight (had to cut a little off the corner of the lense, not into the bulb box) ran it through the rear quarter panel, into the side storage box, under rear sear and up between front seats. I wound the cable up and store under the rear seat when CB not in truck. I think it came out pretty good. Got a 3ft firestik (blue) so just need a CB =)

I went with a 3" cat back using a performance catalytic converter, and a flowmaster muffler. Tail pipe comes out just under the bumper, and is tucked up nice and tight. The exhaust sounds great!

Also went with a K&N cold air intake, Denso Iridium spark plugs, etc...

Ahhh..gotta love tax time.

The budget is $1000..

1. TG bumper with optional recovery points and added supports painted, bolted and weldged to body

2. LC coil/BJ spacer lift with Skyjacker nitro shock on all 4 corners along with panhard drop bracket and LSPV bracket

3. A roof rack.... choices for rack are Rola for $150 available through member or Diamond Rax for $669 shipped..and go over on my budget a bit..which one?

Thoughts? Ideas?

With 3" you still have good back pressure? nice.
I did the ISR mode...living in Cali I have to be able to undo it come smog time anyway so went the cheap route.

I am waiting for bumper to get on before messing with exhaust..if I even do it...might just cut the end of the pipe and call it a day. I would rather use my budget on lift, shocks and a rack, ya know.

OK..finished hunting down all my parts and doing my orders.
The only part I might be regretting is getting my BJ spacer on ebay vs 4crawler..but it saved me some money...hopefully it is good quality metal.

Here is what I have on the way:
Ebay 1.5" BJ spacers
FJ80 Coils
Skyjacker front shocks - N8054
Skyjacker Rear Shocks - N8024
4Crawler 4" Panhard
4Crawler 4" LSPV

I am looking for a 2.5"-3" lift. If this is the case, should I get extended brake line?

Also, my TG bumper is at the shop getting painted and modified. I got the extra weld on supports and had him had on 2 recovery points to it also, since TG does not do that stock. Should be installed by Friday.

Looks like the recovery points are not for this bumper so won't need them...and the supports are for 84-89 models?? gotta get to the shop today to do some measuring.

New TG bumper is on!!

Got it installed Friday. Along with the new bumper I got the extra side supports and buddy who installed gave me a "custom" exhaust tip..lol. The stock pipe hung way low, he cut off the tip, cut the pipe up, welded the tip back on..looks good I think.
Lift stuff should be here soon..hope so, wheeling trip planned for April with the crew.
