If you want CRAWL control and multi terrain select and don't want hot leather, then don't get a TE premium and the cloth seats should do the trick.

I don't care the price point. I'd gladly pay to ride that unicorn. Sucks that it's not even an option though I think. Maybe I'm alone in that though, who knows.

Then there's a Land Cruiser in your future. Don't slum here with a paltry 4Runner. Don't like the looks of a Land Cruiser? Since you have no price point you can buy an $80K LC, spend $50K modifying it to look like a TRD Pro and for only $130K you can have it all. Don't give us the "I don't care about the price point" crap. You must or else you would do what I just described.

The way I see it you need to determine what you need the most... the benefits of the TE for off-road or the benefits of the LE being more luxurious (Note: the LE is still extremely capable off-road)? Despite your argument about price-point, the 4Runner still falls into one and the inclusion of all options for all models won't happen.

There is since you have no budget, have the dealer swap the seats. Probably only run you a couple grand, chump change.

When I test drove my 4Runner there were things that I had small problems with, and I have found more after owning it for 2 years. The thing is my overall impression of the 4Runner both then and now is very good even with the small problems. That is why I bought it and why I keep it.

No bubble burst here. Wealth takes many forms. I wouldn't live anywhere else on earth. In fact, I refuse to even travel anywhere but the three countries that don't hate us. Bottom line, we should be thanking God daily that we live in America, even if we need to walk..... (cold A$$ and all)

I have a 2015 Limited in Blizzard pearl. I love it. I just put on OPOR sliders.

I came close on buying the 2014 GX460. I found one in California sitting on a dealer's lot for a while. It was Starfire pearl white. Black interior. The navigation package w/ the extras (tow hitch etc)...

They wanted 53k (marked down from 55k). I got them down to 48k... My hard ceiling price was 45k. Unfortunately I couldn't find a gx460 to test drive in my area.

I bought my 2015 limited w/ 3rd seating for $42.1k + TTL... 2 weeks later I got a call from the lexus dealer that they were willing to do 46k, but I had already bought and started to drive my 4runner.

Do I regret not getting the lexus... not really. Would it have been nice? Sure. But i'm only getting slightly nicer leather, same BS navigation head unit... But the v8 i'm sure would have been amazing. The side opening rear hatch I think is stupid though.

all in all i'm very happy with my 4runner.
