Crappy Bridgestone tires. most likely the cheapest ones they ordered. oh well, at least they are brand new.

Bridgestone is a good brand from my experience and cheapest brand new tire would last for 50k miles at least. What is the exact model of the tire?

yea, ive had good experiences with some of the bridgestone dueler tires, but i see that the model they gave you gets some poor ratings on the tire rack site. oh well, they were free & thats good.
