New Blacked Out Headlights

ebay black housing headlights

Anyone have any experience with black housing euro clear headlights off ebay? here are the links:

the second one doesnt have the amber reflector on the side.

I tried doing the taillight mod on my prelude but it didnt turn out so great and I cant take that chance with headlights.

I also did the DIY blacked out headlights. Getting that last bolt out inside the front fender was a real bitch.
Easily one of the best mods I have done, gets lots of looks from other 4R owners.

I highly recommend it, definitely worth the time and effort.

I believe there was a couple threads floating around where some members have tried these lights. They had a real hard time getting them adjusted correctly because the reflectors are positioned in the housing a little differently seeing as how they are euro and drive on the other side of the road.
Someone who has tried these may post their experiences with them.

The second and third picture from the top really show the difference and are shot in the same location, similar light, just an hour or two apart (long enough to install the black headlights and the hood protector). The first pic is shot on a different day, with the JAOS stuff installed, different light, etc.

Personally, I like the blacked out front end with the galactic gray.

great weekend for the 4runner...put on replica jdm black headlights and gave it the mother's claybar, nufinish scratch remover, nxt tech wax treatment...here are some pics:
