Hey guys,
Brad here from Canton, GA
New to the forum but not new to Toyotas. We just bought my wife an 06 silver sport v6 4x4 last weekend.
We bought her a '12 Hyundai Santa Fe limited last year and I never really liked it as much as I thought I would. Plus it's had 4 issues already and only had 55k miles. Probably should have bought her a 4runner to begin with haha.
Like I said, I'm not new to Toyotas. I currently drive a '13 Tundra double cab 4x4 with 5100's @ 2.5, coachbuilder lift shackles in the rear, 275/70/18 BFG AT's, katzkin leather swap in graphite, and a leer 100xr cap.
Before the Tundra, I had an 07 Taco double cab short bed 6spd 4x4 many mods: 5100's @ 2.5, toytec AAL in rear, 285/70/17 duratracs on tundra/sequoia wheels (love those wheels!), 4x innovations sliders, full Alpine audio setup, katzkin leather swap in black, color matched body pieces, leer 100xr cap, and a few other misc mods.
As for the new (to us) T4R:
Within the last week, I've put on a set of 265/70/17 hankook dynapro ATM's, ordered katzkin leather in dark graphite, ordered heated seats, ordered new driver seat foam cushion from Toyota (existing bolster is pretty worn), weathertech mats throughout, and a kenwood touch screen HU.
Wife says I've spent too much money lol, so future mods that have to wait are:
Lift w/ 5100's & moog v8 springs and probably a 1.5" coil spacer in the rear. I like the factory rake and not really a fan of the bro lean. Also wanna do BHLM, color
Match the grill, tint the front windows, and probably upgrade the speakers.
Interesting story on the T4R, the interior was absolutely filthy but the price was so good that I overlooked it. When we got it home, I completely gutted the interior and cleaned everything including having the pressure wash the carpet out and scrub with degreaser, then folex carpet cleaner. I dont understand how people can let a vehicle get that filthy. Dealership did a crappy job of cleaning it.
Anyways... done rambling now. Hello to everyone!
