haha thanks! they came out awesome. use a semi gloss or low gloss engine paint. high gloss looks bad. and make sure you clear it a few times to protect it....mine are already getting scratched and chipped. next time i'll drop the extra cash and ge them powder coated, or maybe just buy a set of wheels for the same price....i dunno i'm torn

I just want to congratulate you for a very nice looking 4runner i love the lift but you gotta drop the running boards and get some rock sliders and i also love the black wheels i am currently trying to convince my parents to let me get mine powder coated

Your truck looks good and I am so tired of people saying "ditch the running boards." IF WE WANT TO KEEP OUR RUNNING BOARDS WE ARE KEEPING THEM. My running boards are still on too because I like them. If someone wants to pay my truck payment every month, THEN they can say "ditch the running boards."

Most people say ditch the running boards if you truly plan on off roading since they'll be destroyed anyway but if you are just a pavement pounder or hit just rough dirt roads than the running boards should stay especially if you have a short wife of GF.

haha thanks for backing me up guys! I don't do any rock climbing so I'm gonna keep them... I run through trails and take the beach, that's about it. The truck is still very capable, but it stays practical with the boards
