new lift, wheels, and tires

Put the toytec ultimate lift on and love it. noticed a difference immediately in the way the truck drives and love it. installed MB TKO wheels with 285/70/17 nitto terra grapplers today. so far no rubbing and have about two pieces of paper between the tire and upper control arm. hope that doesn't mean the alignment won't be able to be adjusted in spec. and here are the pics.

uca's are factory, I am rubbing in reverse which I expected that but also appears I am hitting the uca on full lock so I guess u turns are out from here on out.

Steller rig! Thats the lift im trying to save up for (stupid college). I read somewhere....I belive on this forum that if you ordered the lift you may be able to get a bit of a discount on the UCAs. That may be old news but worth a shot to check out.

hoping to not have to buy uca's I can deal with just not going to full lock. as long as after I get an alignment it doesn't pull the wheel closer to the uca. we will see this weekend. Thanks for the compliments.

I would get a set of the Light Racing UCAs. You'll definitely notice a difference as far as the room between the tires and you should be able to properly get the alignment done. Did you do any trimming/moving of the plastic wheel wells?

I haven't done any trimming yet. So far i only rub in reverse but I know they will rub out on the trail. I am waiting till after the alignment to see what needs to be trimmed

Good wheel choice. I'm actually wanting to put those on mine as well. That wheel looks so much better without the center cap. MB has some decent wheels, but their caps are almost universally ugly. At least that's my unsolicited opinion.

You're running wheel spacers, right?

I agree they look better without tthe center cap. I haven't had a chance to mess with anything since they were put on. No spacers. The wheels fit without spacers but just barely. Again I need to see what happens after the alignment to make sure everything still fits. If not the wheels are going back. I'm not gonna spend money on wheels and then have to bbuy spacers.

No spacers? That's good to know. With the +25 offset I'm surprised the 285s fit ok. But hey, answers a question I had.

Now, do I go 265 or 285 myself....decisions, decisions.

I like it, I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the spacers though. I think they add an even meaner stance to it and it would look even better.
