I am noticing that I am rubbing the uca when turning sharp like into a parking space or making a u turn. Its kind of annoying. Looks like my next purchase will be the light racing uca's. I am assuming the aftermarket uca will solve this problem. not a deal breaker with the wheels and is avoidable but still kind of annoying.

ok wheel update. technically they dont fit. I am rubbing the frame, upper control arm and swaybar. But the wheel does come in a -6 offset so I may switch to that wheel. going straight no problems but turning is an issue. About to do some research on the -6 offset since I know most run the 0 offset.

I've been told the TKO's are coming out in a 17*8.5 -6 offset in April-ish. That's why I asked about the spacers before. I was trying to figure out how you fit 285s on a +25 offset 8.5 wheel.

well the wheel and tire fit, you just can't turn all the way. The wheels are still on the truck. Discount just told me that the -6 offset isn't coming out till April. So I am on the hunt for a new wheel or maybe I will just put the stock wheels on for a month. Picking one wheel is hard enough without having to pick an alternate. I have been looking at the method standards or the black rhino sidewinders currently. not sure what I am gonna do.

Look at the Level 8 Strike, also in matte black, 17x9 in either a 0 or 12 (iirc..). My buddy put them on his Jeep and they look pretty good. The 9" wheel is fine for the 285s, and you can talk to the guys at Discount to see which offset will give you the look you want.

looking at this wheel now, its 17x8.5 0 offset 4.75 backspacing. what ya think?

I did the Level 8 Strike 6 in 18X9 +25, and it came out great. The effective offset is nearly identical to running stock wheels with spidertrax spacers. They only have them in +25 and 0 offsets for the 4 runner bolt pattern.

No rubbing at all on anything. I have 265/65/18 tires and 5100 Bilsteins set a 1.75 in front.
