So I've finally decided on my first mod (not counting the interior leds) on my 2011 SR5. The plan is to add a LED light bar to the lower grill area, aux back up lights and prewire for something to be added in the future.
I've already ordered three switches, switch plate, etc from OTRATTW. For switches I went with their Contura V Laser Etched Switches in Amber.
I picked up some cheap-o Navigator brand fog lights I found on Amazon to mount under the rear bumper as aux backup lights.
I ordered an Aux Relay / Fuse Box from Wired Wagon LLC to keep things tidy. Found this on IH8Mud and have heard great things about it. It comes prewired with relays and fuses in a weatherproof box connected by a fuseable link to the battery. Erik from Wired Wagon was a huge help in answering multiple questions prior to purchase. His support is second to none.
As far as the light bar I'm still on the fence. Was going to go with PIAA 4in lights until I found a light bar from MandRonline.com. Their 40 LED 24in 120w bar is listed on the site for $400 ($375 on eBay.) The website doesn't give any info on Lumens but they have a 30in 108w bar listed @ 6750LM. I know the whole "You get what you pay for" thing but at that price I might get it and see how it goes.
As for the third switch, maybe rock lights. I think I'll hold off on those until the sliders, lift and roof rack are installed.
As the stuff arrives, I'll post some pics and update how the install is going. I'm not a wiring wizard so it will probably be slow. Want to do it right and not end up with a rats nest.
