New member/New 04 SportT4R!

Howdy All,
I signed up to get some advice on what to look for in a 04 sport T4r, However it is already bought!

I have been a Nissan Pathfinder person from way back but wanted to give the 4 runners a shot. I have to say i am impressed so far.

Any chronic problems I should look for before the warranty ends?

It is the sport 6cyl. Thanks!

Nothing pervasive that I have seen. I have an 04 Sport V8 and have had no problems with about 40K miles.

The only thing I have noticed on the forums is talk about moon roof problems. There are few TSBs for minor problems but nothing to get too excited about.

The driver seat moving can be fixed by warranty if you're affected. I've got a few months now after the fix and it still works well.

Sunroof can develop rattles. Sulfur smell coming from the exhaust. To me, those are the major ones but there are other TSBs out there. If you want to see the full list, http://alldata.com/ has them.
