I love how everyone comes on these forums to pound their chest and speak so intelligently of themselves with subjects like "I paid xx,xxx.xx" too funny! I'd actually like to hear the numbers that folks actually see as the total financed amount. For SR5 with equivalent package dealer invoice is close to 33k, after most states tax/license you'd be close to $38 or $38.5. Your not too far off, drive the wheels off it and enjoy!

You have 1 post. Who cares what who paid, a deal is in the eye of the beholder. As a 4th gen owner, I think you all got ripped off on something that is no better in anyway (quality wise) than the 4th gen. In fact, its worse than the 4th gen in many areas.

Well there are 2 main factors here.... US vs Canada - BIG price differences for essentially the same 4R, it is just the way it goes. We in the US can not compare our prices to what he paid, only other fellow Canadians can. When I 1st posted I looked for any info on him and where he might be located as Canada did cross my mind, especially with the lack of foliage on the trees in the background of his images, then again it is the same right now here in the 'great' (cough) state of MA.
So far from what I have seen, for the most part, we have all gotten decent prices on our 4R's here. I don't think anyone has been bent over the barrel with their dealership, if they have they have not posted it at least
There are a couple good threads of what people have paid and what rigs they have, always gives a good baseline to start from for anyone thinking of purchasing. Good ol' supply and demand plays a big part in it too, then again so does how much xyz dealership is hurting for a sale.

Dont worry about how much you paid for it either, you'll be able to get at least 200k miles out that vehicle without any major repairs, that in itself makes it well worth the price you paid!

Yessir. It was, for the longest time not allowing me to enter a user defined perfectly plastic stress strain curve based on the material properties of ASTM 350 Grade LF 2 steel. Finally got that to work now Im having issues with it accepting the mating on my cylindrical faces.
Been in the lab all day.
Tried it in Autodesk Simulation it refuses to mesh as an assembly. I can mesh one part of it but it doenst like the boundary conditions that are needed.

Yea its a group project for my product development class.
Thing is, the company is seriously considering entertaining our idea. Its a ten million dollar motor/compressor/interface system. We're responsible for redesigning the interface which must remain pressurized. With the factor of safety its over 5000 psi.
Anyway 3 weeks until the semester is over. Its not necessary but it would be nice to provide them with a model that solves. Otherwise we have to resort to using our linear analysis, which solves along with the hand calculations form the ASME and API code.

I assume the OP was the one that left the comment on my youtube video (which I can't remember my password, so I cannot reply to it on there). Anyways, with the SR5 upgrade stereo, I've been unable to transfer contacts other than one at a time. To me, it isn't worth it. The iphone has "voice command" which is activated by holding the home button for 3 seconds. It will activate through the SR5 speakers and you speak using the mic in the 4Runner. Once it activates, just say "Call John Smith" and it will. Basically, the voice control on the iphone (and I'm sure Android phones too) is far more elegant than what is built into the Toyota voice command button.
Can you root your Droid and add a button/switch widget to the dashboard? Also, Isotoner makes a glove designed for use with a touchscreen phone. My wife bought them for me. Works surprisingly well.
Other than the discussion about some engineering project, most everything has been relevant to the original post.
