New Nitto's installed

Thanks for the first hand advice on Nitto's. I'll take your word for it since you have already experimented.
 
I've find that 35 psi is perfect. 32 feels a touch better but my mileage suffered. 40 was painful. 35 seems to be the sweet spot for the Nittos.

How long have you had yours on so far? How's the tread wear?

A little over 25,000. Treadwear looks good. I expect at least 40,000 out of them.

Did I mention they're a GREAT tire! :biggrin2:

I love them so far. I missed the rain here by 2 days, so I haven't tried them out on anything except dry pavement so far. Nitto's don't have a mileage expectancy like other tires do, so it's encouraging to see them still going strong after 25k.
 
they look great man... I like the black wall out.. It makes me wanna turn my white letters in... I think I will do that next time i get them balanced

Nice to see the lift with the rear done. It looks good! Don't worry about missing the rain, the mold release compound takes a bit to scrub off anyway, so the experience wouldn't have been optimal for the first few miles.

I run my stock CTs at 40 psi, I think that's where Josh got it from... Center tire wear shouldn't be an issue as long as you have full tread width on the contact patch. I've always run my tires at max psi on my trucks, and verify that I'm getting full width by driving over a wet spot and observing the tread pattern. I remove air to get the full width. I've never had an issue with excessive centre wear on my tires. I perfer my suspension a bit on the stiff side... personal prefrence YMMV.

I had it easy, because it was black writing on both sides. I just had to pick whether I wanted the solid or lined lettering facing out.

Thanks, and I have heard it from numerous people on here about running their tires at 38-40psi so don't hold yourself responsible.
