New Pic's of Stolen Mods

I took a hole saw to some trim yesterday and it came away looking pretty good. I borrowed some idea's from some much smarter forum members and decided to put LED's in the cargo area and some cup holders in the bumper. Both projects were super easy using and I look forward to copy and pasting some more good work of others into my 4Runner.
Still not sure how to type in between pics but you get the idea. And sorry about some of the pictures being off center the camera on my iPhone decided to take pictures but not show me what I was aiming at, I was flying blind.
The last pic is of my sliders being made by some friends of mine. They will be put on in a few days but can't powder coat till I get my truck back to the mainland.

Those lights are great! Can you post some more info on those?

These are the lights I used. Took me forever to find them. The round housing slides off and the flat face of the light slides right into a 2.5" hole.

I've been on Oahu for the last eight years. Moving to San Diego by way of Seattle, Portland, Boise and Reno in November.

Try to get your hands on some Maui Brewing Co. Big Swell IPA, its a great hawaiian made beer. It'll change your life.

OK so here comes the inevitable follow up questions you were only bound to receive. Can you post more pictures or a writeup on how you used those disk led's? How did you wire a a/c light to d/c wiring? No problems I assume with them being low voltage?

I also see in your signature, you have color matched headlights. Care to elaborate?? :cheers:

The lights themselves are LED's. There are three 1watt superbright LEd's in each and they are plenty bright. The placement in the pillar also gives them good coverage in the cargo area. As for the write up Snooperstyle did it right the first time HERE.

As for the headlights I used a few write ups from a tacoma forum to pull them apart and paint the inside trim, similar to what Ducmonsta did to his headlight trim, though mine will never be near as cool as his are turning out.

I can grab some more pictures when I get home so you can see how the lights fit in and attach to the trim.

Ah. Well, preemptive "Welcome back to the mainland". Thanks for the heads up on the Maui brew.

We go to Oahu alot, and just spent 3 weeks in a house near Chun's Reef on the North Shore in July. Wife wants to retire there, but I prefer the chill of the Pacific Northwest. (I retire in 8 years) Perhaps we can have the best of both worlds one day.

Here's a couple things I've done in the last week. Finally got to Boise where I've been stockpiling my parts. Rigid Lights should be on the rack tomorrow and if wheels come in this week they'll get thrown on too. The salesman at the 4x4 shop forgot to order on time and tried to up sell me. Couldn't be happier with the progress and can't wait till its done.

Thanks to Antman and Ducmonsta for answering stupid questions everything worked right the first time....which is the first time for me.

VERY NICE! I like the clean look of these! I may be stealing YOUR idea if my "landing strips" ever break or burn out...

Also, did you install ground effects lighting under your truck????? Or am I looking at your pics wrong??? Not something I would do probably, but you might the first 5th gen owner to do that on here...

My brother-in-law called the light pods I put on the underside of each tire ground effects the whole time we were wiring and mounting everything. The embarrassing part is not that they actually have a strobe function but that I made sure to include it in the circuit.
I call them rock lights and there pretty bright when they're on steady.
I got my tires finally and put my sliders on this morning before the temperature broke freezing. I couldn't wait any more.
