NEW SHOTS OF MY TE w/ 20's!

Hey, I posted some pictures from a few days back when I swapped out my 17" MB TKO wheels and stock tires for some black 20" XD Monster wheels w/ 275/55-20 General Grabber tires. I LOVE IT. These pictures are after I gave it a bath today. One of them also shows the tread pattern on my wheels which I also love, and a few others just to show the awesome offset. My plan was to get a new Tundra when they come out in September but now I am leaning more toward a White 2014 4Runner and putting these wheels/tires on it! We shall see. . Here ya go.

I never understood why someone would specifically buy the OFF ROAD TRAIL model of a vehicle and then mall crawler it out. I think the 20s would look cool with mud tires, but anything that lowers the profile of the sidewall is just acting to rip the tire off the rim on a rock... or curb.

What's not to understand about a guy spending his money on his truck the way he wants to? I also didn't see a mall in the pics.

I like it. He will still be able to handle the dirt roads in the mountains if needed and the snow as well with out looking like a guy that has a new truck and old redneck 16's

Looks good! I've been thinking of getting the same Grabber UHPs for the Limited 20" wheels as well since they're rated by the manufacturer for 7" widths.

Not sure about the "snow" part. I haven't read good things about snow traction with these. From what I can tell, though, it's about as close to a 3-season 32" tire as you can get (without going to 295/305 widths) since they have excellent wet and dry grip.

I didn't buy the TE for the OFF ROAD capability . . I bought it because I liked the look better than an SR5 and Limited models! I don't go on rocks OR curbs so no worries there. AND I go to the mall more than I go "off-road" so, there ya go!

Love it!! I purchased the loaded up SR5 because I didn't want the 20s that come on the Limited. Funny enough my friend with a Ltd. takes his everywhere I take mine. It's your 4Runner, so do what You like with it. I like my 17s, but your truck looks great IMO. Some plasti dip to the chrome would really finish it off I think!
