I didn't buy the TE for the OFF ROAD capability . . I bought it because I liked the look better than an SR5 and Limited models! I don't go on rocks OR curbs so no worries there. AND I go to the mall more than I go "off-road" so, there ya go!

If the last pic is the front passenger wheel (which it appears to be), the tire is mounted correctly.

Yes, I had to remove the small mud guards and move the wheel well liner forward in front.

For the haters out there, when you're lucky to get 16-17mpg having a non-aggressive tire makes complete sense. I have a LTD with 20's and TOYO street tires because I refuse to take lose any more mileage with heavier/aggressive tires.

And let's be honest.....the 4Runner isn't a off-road monster. The tires he has mounted are MORE then ADEQUATE to handle most terrains our 4Runner's will encounter. Now on my 79 CJ5 that's a different story, it's rocking 35x14.5x17 Toyo MT's which is suiting considering it's a Jeep and is meant for more hard-core off-roading.
