New SoCal 4runner owner

I’ve wanted a bigger car for a long time and was holding out for the new bronco but I’m glad I pulled the trigger on our new 4runner. Just picked it up 2 weeks ago. 2018 SR5 4x4. I’m coming off a Prius V . So it’s a “little” different but I love it. I’ve thought 4 runners were cool since I was a kid and my godfather had a silver gen1.

I had to put a step bar on it for the kids and my wife. I don’t really like it but it’s functional. I’m looking to do a modest suspension lift for just a little more clearance and some bigger tires. We camp a lot and I would love to camp in some more remote places.

Here she is ...

Nice! Big change from the prius! I came from a Lexus IS350. The difference is insane but so amazing.

The change is massive ! I look forward to having to drive places now. And I’ve already started to make a few changes to the 4runner. I’m going to black out the badges and roof rails next.

Hi! All,

I'm the new owner of a well loved, low mileage, 1986 4Runner, SR5.

Nice I picked up brand new in 2017(2018) a Barcelona red TRD Off Road

And I love it too, getting brake controller installed so I can tow a small camper for overlanding in the Sierras!
