Zero modification to the truck. All the mounting goes where the Hard top was. The back has a bar that goes across the back (works well). There is a Velcro option for the back. I have not used this. The bar that goes through the back canvas works great for me.

do they seal as good as the hard top? im lookin to get one just started researching. is soft top the only company who makes them?

It seals up well. I cant see rain getting i but there are gaps in corners and in the back. I will get dust in the back if i go down a dusty road.
