Interesting to see how this plays out. The guy didn't make his fortune by not getting what he wants and accepting anything less.

We do have more money in the game than he does, but don't forget that they can play on the emotions of the people who are emotionally weak, scared shitless or just plain ignorant on the subject of firearms(a demographic that makes up half the country). Something we don't quite have the liberty of doing. Now isn't the time to just lob fastballs over the plate because they have a man on third. They ALWAYS have a man on third.
There are so many people out there who can be influenced and that's their play. They're going to main street. They're targeting moms. They're playing on fears. They're making up data. They're sneaky, and they only have two outs. Game isn't over yet.

We need to stay vigilant...look at the trainwreck SAFE act and how it was passed. Dead of the night when the only people awake were the state Senate and Assembly. Rushed it through before anyone could stop them. This is the game they're playing.

So educate the ignorant. Teach them safe handling, teach them the actual statistics that Moms Demand Action don't want to exist. Maybe buy someone an NRA Membership for Christmas this year- it'll spark their interest and fund our fight at the same time.
Our possibilities are endless...because we have facts on our side.

Yup, I agree. Sorry if it sounded as if I was getting complacent. I was just highlighting that these guy's and their checkbooks can only carry them so far. We the People still stand in the way and fortunately we still have big players in the game.

Education and prevention are still key, imo.

I cant agree more. At what point is it enough? Whether you have a few 30 round mags or 5 15 round mags, you can still inflict just as much damage.

Wait until it's (insert item here) they are going after that you enjoy, and you will see the error of this thinking.

The end game for these types of people is total disarmament of the populous. Meanwhile they will keep their security teams armed with select fire PDW's and ride in up-armored vehicles like they already do.
