just recently replaced a timing belt, tensioner, and water pump on a 2005 4runner 4.7 liter. After putting everything back together the truck won't start. Pulled one code p1340. I took everything back apart to check my timing marks and everything appears to be dead on. the notch on the crankshaft sprocket lines up with the dimple on the oil pump and both camshaft marks line up to the line on the head, not to the T marks. One thing that did happen was while I had the belt off, the right had side/passenger side camshaft moved a few teeth on me. I went to move the pulley back into place where the marks lined up using the center bolt through the pulley and it loosened on me. The bolt looks like it has a copper crush washer behind it to help seal something. I tightened the bolt back up and continued on with the job. Did this bolt loosening up on me have anything to do with camshaft timing, throwing a code p1340 and the no start? or should I be looking into a crankshaft or camshaft sensor problem?
