Nor_cal51501's build thread

Regear for sure, swapping the front diff is a PITA.

Want to guess what I just bought today?... Here comes the PITA. Wanna help? Lol

Roseville is far otherwise i would. let me know how it goes i'll have to do this when i regear this summer.

4.30s are gonna be great. I knocked out my swap with 4Ripcord and we managed to get his old 4.30s out and my 4.10s swapped in about 7 hours. You can pull the actuator off of the 97 front diff and swap it with your old one. Pretty straightforward. Don't forget to tighten all the suspension bolts to spec when the rig is on the ground.

E-Locked finally done!

Finally finished the wiring today for the locker!! It works perfectly. I wired the light in the button as the locker indicator and it worked first try. So happy to be done with the swap. Tested it in the rain today, it locks up great! Lol

Here's the few pictures I took of the install and the finished product, not going to go into intimate detail because the installs have been covered before by many people. But let me say, what a process due to my intake issues. :crybaby: All is well now though, and the fun and enjoyment factor of my Runner is easily x20!!
Here it goes!

Prepping the 13WL's for install

Decided to try out the G2 caliper paint before getting the 13WL's under the car.

So here's the end product. I would definitely use G2 again, but next time I'm wearing gloves, this epoxy style paint DOES NOT COME OFF!! Special thanks to Speedy for the decals to take it to another level of awesome. :yo:
