Hey, Thanks TideRunner really appreciate the compliment. It's a bit of extra work, but it pays off to keep the rig going strong. I'm also lucky to work for a dealership that has a wholesale account that allows me to spend a bit more money(while spending less than the average person).

Ya, my work has a wholesale account at my local Toyota dealership, so I get a nice price break. Albeit, I still spend a shit ton, it's nice not to pay retail. Here's a sneak peak at what I picked the antenna up for. Nothing crazy substantial, but nonetheless nice to buy new than spending the $40-50 on a used antenna at a local dismantler. Factory pricing can sometimes be really different than wholesale on expensive stuff, I.e. I priced out LBJ and they were still like $159 each if I remember correctly. But it is a nice thing to have the price break, that's for sure.


Also, I had to pull the supercharger again in order to get to the drivers side fuel rail and injectors. I figured that if one started to leak because of age when I removed them to do the knock sensors and pigtail, then the rest of then wouldn't be far behind.

I haven't put them back together yet, but I have all the new toyota seals for them. They are still disassembled and on my toolbox. I need the $$ for calipers so I can get my TBU done finally.

.... I thought those calipers you painted red in your thread WERE tundra calipers? Why do you need $ when you already have them?

It was late, I meant to put rotors. :yawn::yawn::yawn: Those are the 13wl calipers I worked on and painted.

I do, yes. It's just the piston seals(boots and o-rings), unless you need the pistons as well, they are expensive though. I'll send the part #'s in just a bit for ya.
Here ya go [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION], it comes with everything to do both front calipers. I made the mistake originally buying two kits thinking it was one per caliper.

Pat, it's not bad at all. It's a bit nerve racking if it's your first time due to so many different torque specs and nuts and bolts, I suggest taking your time and using magnetic trays for all the nuts and bolts so you don't lose any.

Nice work! Now that my supercharger's on I wish I'd done more while I was in there. Go figure...

I know exactly how you feel. I've taken my supercharger/intake assembly off 4? 5? times now since I've originally installed it. Benefit, I've got it down pretty good now though. Lol.

Such a great looking build. And those valve covers look amazing !!

Hey, much appreciated. I saw another user(who's name is escaping me at the moment) use the same paint when doing a fresh build for his Tacoma swap and fell in love with the color and had to have it.

Awesome, we're trying to get a mod day setup in the Bay Area. You should join if you're free. And I'm happy to advertise for my company, my boss has hooked me up so much and helped me out it's the least I can do. I mean, he did give me a free supercharger after all and fat hookup on my last two 4Runners. Lol

I returned the other set, but if you want me to grab it from the dealership (with my pricing of course) we can deduct it from the price of the bumper? :biggrin2:

Antenna mod will be the death of me!

FU*K this mod hard in it's a*s!!! Sport flare clips break EVERYTIME and the stupid antenna wire is such a bi*ch to get up the passenger kick panel and back in the factory clips. I swear this antenna wire has it out for me, been 20 minutes and I'm still dicking around with getting it up the kick panel. I feel completely useless at the moment trying to get this stupid thing in place. Ok, rant over. Back to it.

It rids you of the electric gear driven multi piece antenna mast that breaks super easily and switches it to a stationary flexible mast(know as the Tacoma whip mod I believe). Now you can wheel without breaking your antenna and go through drive through car washes without turning off your radio. Also, I'm done finally, well almost. I need to search my toolbox for the extra fender clips due to breaking 4 taking my flare off. :violin::redbrick::gun4:

I was driving by today and wondering what you were doing to the 4runner but came across this thread and it all made sense lol. Never knew you had a s/c in that thing, thats sweet.

So the other day I was really bored and wanted to start another project on my 4Runner. I decided I wanted to flip my hitch, then I realize I had the newer welded hitch. No way was I goin to buy a new(used) hitch, so I stole the one off my moms '98 4Runner. Thanks mom! So far I've been prepping it and cleaning it up. Here's the beginning of my process so far.
My hitch:
