I've been out there once, but didn't try any of the harder stuff. The good thing about cleghorn is you have pretty much two options the whole way .. easy fire road or a path with a few more obstacles.

Only downside is that it does have easy freeway access so I could see it being a bit more populated on a Sunday.

Alright, Cleghorn looks to be an hour and a half run, maybe we should meet up around 9-10AM. Stick, last time you went, did you start at Silverwood lake? If we're going that way, we could meet at the McDonalds right off the 15 freeway and grab some breakfast to go and fuel up, then convoy up to the lake. If anyone wants to go shooting at Lytle Creek afterwards, bring your firearms/ammo and some targets.

I hope you're taking pictures of that conversion, sounds awesome.

I updated my first post with info on the run. The closest ranger station that I could locate for the Cleghorn run was at Lytle Creek.

You still have like 15 hours... go get it done!

This will be the last last weekend of trails in the southern half of this state.

following weekend its time to take the first round of stuff up north.

Yes there is. As soon as you pretty much enter onto the trail it starts there and goes up. How far up the trail, I'm not quite sure. Pikeman knows he patrols this area.

Like Keemo said, its at the very beginning, there are only four or five spots, but both times I've been by, all were in use. You may want to go early to make sure you get a spot. Also, don't go further up to the plateau and shoot down. According to Pikeman, you'd be shooting down into Indian land and they tend to shoot back.

We're meeting up at the Lytle Creek Ranger Station at 0900, try to be a little early. This will give everyone a chance to get an adventure pass and avoid a ticket (no idea how much they might be). Any other info is on my first post, hope to see ya'll there! Afterwards, some of us may go to the shooting range at Lytle Creek.

Honestly I think the fine for not having the adventure pass is the same fee as buying the pass. Either way if it helps put a little money towards keeping the trails open its probably worth it.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Just got called in for a last minute emergency for tomorrow morning. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Sorry guys won't be able to make it tomorrow with you guys. I was so set to go on this trail. Well have fun guys. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Just had to let it out. I'm off this whole thanks giving week. So if anyone is planning anything else during the week let me know. I'm down for an easy to moderate trail. This trail you guys are gonna do sounds like what I would like to do.
