OBD2 gauge pod options

I have the scan gauge but it is basically a part of a daily driver ford explorer because well its a ford and I like to see a digital number for the water temperature.

Is there any other pod type gauge that connects to the OBD2 port any of you have used? I am really only looking at monitoring coolant temp and voltage since my 1996 does not have the trans temp signal.

Or has anyone run stand alone gages in the Pillar or some place for things like water temp, voltage and trans temp? if so any pictures?

thanks,

I've got the Ultraguage. Its cheaper than the one you have. It's a different case size also. I really like it. It does display AND alarm for coolant temperature.

I made a little aluminum angle bracket and mounted it to the black speedometer bezel. It sits a little in front of the speedometer but only covers up 0 to 30 Km so I can live with that.

I've been happy with this. Different screens available, but I have it set to speed, coolant, and temp. I primarily wanted it for coolant temp, and it works great. You can set an alarm that goes off when coolant temp hits whatever you want. Same with speed and voltage. Can adjust the speedometer on it. Has some trip functions I don't use. And it reads basic codes. $45 I figured if it is crap no biggie, but it's been great. The cable just goes right back in steering column and vanishes. Something in the description made me think it would not work on my '98, but it plugged right in and works fine.

Got it on Amazon here.

That one looks more so like what I wanted to get. Might have to order it. Looks like its $80 or so.
