OK, changed content of post.
I'm looking at 3M Black Super Weatherstrip Adhesive to bond the roof to the sunroof frame. However, I'm not sure if it would be up to the task. I can't really find anything that would also be safe for paint and in large quantities (a know not those ridiculous 1 oz tubes...)
The metal roof panel at the front is bowed and incidentally the seal on the sunroof edge cannot keep it down and water out.
I found BetaMate but that seems to be for serious structural adhesives which might make future removal of the sunroof for maintenance impossible.
