Odyssey Battery

Those who have installed Odyssey Batteries in their rigs what models will fit. Or what i mean is what is the largest model that will fit without mods.

pc1700mjt, have a small peice of mdf or plywood to make a spacer on top and u will be able to use the stock battery bracket.

The spacer is used between the battery and the bracket?

this diehard is big & heavy, & fits using longer j hooks. its also a rebadged odyssey but without metal jacket. http://www.toyota120.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16314&highlight=diehard+pm-1+battery

are you considering a battery with higher CCA's ?

That die hard does look like an Odyssey. I installed one in my previous vehicle. Im just wanting to put the largest battery that will fit. I bought a Optima yellow top but am returning it because its smaller than my stock panasonic battery and prefer Odyssey since i had a good experience with my previous one. I'm also going to install a trickle charger because sometimes my vehile is parked for months at a time because i have a work vechile i use.

I'm goning to scoop that die hard and see how it goes. Where did you get the j-hooks?

i got the hooks online. some places sell em for as little as 3 bux others up to 15 or more. autozone or advance should have them. i forgot what length they were, 10-12 i think. the diehard has 1150 cca, reserve of 205, & weighs 75lbs.
