For those who have performed this mod, does it also activate the reverse lights when you toggle?

No... Reverse lights only come on when in reverse or if you wire them up to a switch. The harnness overrides only the camera.

Thanks for replying! Are you referring to the pre-made harness that someone is selling? Or Antman's backup cam switch?

I believe this is the thread you want to read, this mod is good if you ever want to revert back to stock.

I believe Antmans required wire cutting etc.

I just did this this weekend. Read antman write up. All you need is the switch, a quick splice and some extra wire.
