Those duratracs look massive! I can only imagine what they look like new. Who's runner is that next to yours Steeze.
Never heard of someone running anything bigger than 35's with IFS on a 4runner, except for Flexinc when he had the drop bracket lift. Thats nuts. Can you post pictures of the 38's? the pictures on the previous page just look like 35's to me...
man, thats a fine looking vehicle right there. . . . what kind of sliders you runnin? just the rectangle tube?
- What wheels are you running? 17x9 Trail Ready HD Beadlocks
- What is the backspacing of your wheels? 3.5”
- Do you rub the frame at full lock? Yes, but just the edge
- Do you rub the UCA at full droop? No, I have plenty of room
- Are you running wheel spacers, if so how big are they? No
I myself don't really plan on using fender flares and IF I go 35's was hoping to keep the wheels in the wells as much as possible with minimal or no contact on the frame at full lock (if possible...). The info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Dirtco is a fabbing genious and built them himself. Check out his build thread for info.
I've got a question for all of you guys running 35's and thought this would be a good place to ask. I am seeing a lot of different wheel/spacer combos for 35's and was wondering what the "best" setup is for these tires.
- What wheels are you running? 16x8 Lexus LX450 Wheels
- What is the backspacing of your wheels? 4.5"
- Do you rub the frame at full lock? None
- Do you rub the UCA at full droop? None
- Are you running wheel spacers, if so how big are they? Yes, front only - 1.25"
If you have any questions about fitting 35's just let me know, it takes a little work but it's really not that bad. My 4Runner is my daily driver and they don't bother me at all, it's the nicest all around vehicle I have ever owned. The secret is building the vehicle around the tires, every aspect of my 4Runner was build and designed around the 35's.
Keep in mind that spacers change your turning radius. So even after grinding & pounding down the pinch weld, I still rub it a little bit when at full lock turned. The rear will rub in the fenderwell as well if you do no extend your bumpstops.
Like Dirtco said, I think a 3.75" or 4" backspaced wheel with a one inch spacer up front would work out really well and tuck nice.

- What wheels are you running? Stock 5 stars
- What is the backspacing of your wheels? 4.65"
- Do you rub the frame at full lock? Yes, but just the edge like Dirtco.
- Do you rub the UCA at full droop? Yes, but hasn't been an issue, it just brushes against it.
- Are you running wheel spacers, if so how big are they? Yes, 1". I think if I had 1.25" spacers I probably wouldn't rub the UCAs at all, but you might have to clearance the fenders/firewall a little bit more because the increase in turning arc.
Any vibration issues with the Spydertrax spacers? I had some Chinese spacers in the past and was hit or miss each time I got the tires balanced.
