Sorry you couldn't make it dude. Mark didn't end up making it either. I guess he got tied up with the job he was doing. Pretty good turn-out and there was some wrenching going on which was cool. Our next one will probably be in the spring time so hopefully you'll be able to make that one.

For anybody coming out today, I'm going to be bringing along a timing belt/water pump kit (Toyota parts) that I don't have a need for now. Also have a new Denso radiator in box. Both I will let go for cheap to get them out of my garage.

Mikey, you are the man! Thank you for selling me that timing belt kit for such a sweet price. Now I'm all set to do my timing belt job sometime next year. Your V8 swap video is next on our list for uploading to our channel. Thanks for letting Sean and I be part of this project. I think people will be pretty stoked to witness what was entailed with your project.

Im in the same boat. I told [MENTION=102606]infamousRNR[/MENTION] i should be able to make it for a couple of hours but ended up staying the whole day in fairfield giving flu shots, free health checks, clothing, food and water at my church’s outreach day. At the end of the day it was rewarding but i still kept thinking about mod day the whole time lol.

Hey team - my 1999 Highlander edition was totaled last week by a FedEx driver. It's currently at a tow yard in South SF and the insurance company is waiving the salvage fee, so I can keep the car. Unfortunately, I live in the city and just don't have anywhere to store it. The driver said is pretty warped from the crash and the passenger rear tire popped off. There is probably some rear axle damage.

Would anywhere here want it for parts? I loved it and am bummed to see it just go to a junkyard. The three remaining tires are only a little over a year old. I replaced the timing belt/water pump, starter, battery, brake pads, and rotors within the last 18 months too. I have no idea if it's worth much but figured I'd throw it out there to see if anyone was interested.

So I got quite a few messages about tearing off parts. Sorry to disappoint, but I really just didn't the time to go work on it for a day and hold parts in my small apartment. Plus it was jammed in the back of tow yard surrounded by other vehicles so I wouldn't have been able to do much with it anyway. I did take an hour to grab some of my audio stuff out of it and was able to save my center console in the process. A couple of you asked about it - I'm by the DMV in the city if you are interested in it. I also have the Weathertech mats in tan, which I bought about a month ago so they in top condition.
