Thanks so much for the email LawnDart, he called me today. He needs my car, or actually a small piece, to match paint. He has other customers that have the Barcelona Red Metallic paint, so looks like I can help him out since I'm in SoCal.

Just saw the responses on this thread, glad everyone is getting taken care of. Like [MENTION=124732]LawnDart[/MENTION] mentioned, they are a small (literally 2 man operation) and get swamped really quickly around race time. Production pieces like these aren't really their main source of business, race bodies are. If anyone is having trouble getting a hold of them just PM me.
And to the other guy, there's no reason to have a rise in these. If you look at my old production thread from the design phase we quickly established that a rise wasn't necessary as the wheels will impact the inner metal wheel well before they even touch these fenders. The original design around this was to keep the stock lines looking aggressive and able to clearance most setups.
This is at full stuff, I can still turn the wheel but the limiting factor is the inner wheel well, not the rise of the fender. I've had these fenders on for 4 different trips (through Wyoming, Colorado, and recently through the entire Baja peninsula) and haven't touched the fiberglass fender even once.
I can see the fenders limiting you if you were running 37s or 3.5" LT but for 99% of us on here, no rise is necessary.

It can be very frustrating when not getting a response from a business so I was just giving Havik another option since he wasn't getting a response...nothing to start a new thread about. No one needs to get their panties in a bunch about providing alternatives especially when a business can't be reached.

This is an “official” ordering thread. It is counterproductive to suggest someone “should just go” with another product when they were clearly not interested in additional options. This is not helpful, especially in a thread whose intent is well demarcated (maybe you should make a fiberglass fenders options thread).

I just sent an email to the yahoo address that LawnDart posted....How easy is the install with a snorkel? Easy to do in the driveway, or better done at a body shop?

It is not too difficult. I installed my snorkel and fender by myself. It is easier with an extra set of hands. The part that took me the longest was loosening my front bumper, and finding something to hold it up without fully removing it.
Have a drill handy cause you may have to drill a couple holes in the fender to match with the stock bolt locations...or adjust some of the holes.

I ended up doing something different to clear the larger tires and do not feel like going through with the install.
What I paid - $650 fender + $45 bracket + Shipping
Asking $650 for local pick-up / meeting local. I am in the Sacramento area.

If you'd be willing to ship this down to SoCal, I'd buy it. I can't get the guys at the shop to sell me a set. They keep wanting to meet up so they can color match the fenders, but that doesn't seem to ever work out. I asked them to sell me a set unpainted, but they aren't willing.

Fiberglass takes quote a bit of PREP before painting, that's prob why. If they'd ship it unpainted, it wouldn't have that PRED done already.

You can prep fiberglass without painting it. I would get them painted so getting them prepped myself wouldn't be out of the question. They simply refuse to respond when I ask to buy them. They keep insisting I meet up with them.

I was going to explain this further in my last post, but didn't.
Yes, you are correct, but most don't do this. As with air pockets, etc many like to do their own paint and prep for warranty, etc. They just don't want to send it out unfinished and then have someone else paint it and then see small defects. Making something in fiberglass, vs paint/prep isn't the same for everyone.

Madera is about 4 to 4 and a half hours away. I really couldn't do that. It would be easy to take the 2 and a half hour drive out to their shop.
