Ok - I'm confused and need specific tire clarification

Will BFG All Terrain's 275/70 17 fit well on a trail? I thought I read "YES", although tirerack told me no earlier today.

Can anyone with them confirm or deny? If they do fit, I have a local tire guy offering to install 4 of them on my trail for $950 installed.

Go for it. A bunch of us have run them in 275/70/17 and had no rubbing at all.$950 installed is a good deal.

Got them on earlier today, looks great and drives much better. The Grandtrek AT20's that came on the trail had 25k on them.....just sold them on craigslist to a guy up the street from the tire shop for $250. Net cost after 25,000 miles = $700.
