OPOR Sliders Installed

I was already planning on getting these, since I live close enough to metal tech to pick them up myself....but seeing how well they fit/look on your T4R, cements the deal. Very nice!

did you order the mesh/hybrid? I'm curious what those look like. Also, please let us know if you have to adjust anything for xreas/rocker panels, or if it's just straight bolt on. thanks

Metal Tech said they had just done a test fit on Limited right before I ordered them and they said they were good to go....But I will let you guys know as soon as I get them and put them on...
I hope they are as easy to put on as they say with no ISSUES.

From the front and rear views, the sliders look to stick out a good amount but really, if I had to guess, they only stick out about 4-6"? Depending on how angled another vehicle's door is, it may still hit.

I was the test dummy for the 2013 Limited sliders. The front sticks out three inches from the bottom and the rear sticks out four inches from the bottom.

opor sliders

might do a search on this site for Metal Tech. there is a post on their sliders with a bunch of pictures of these sliders on the SR5. Including some that will give you a feel for how far they stick out and usefulness as steps. would have inserted a link but haven't figured out how yet.

When in the advanced form for posting, look for an icon (below the smiley face and paperclip) that looks like the earth with a two links of a chain at the bottom. Click that, and paste your URL.

Stepping on the sliders with your foot parallel to the sliders as opposed to perpendicular and they work just fine as a step (that's how I step on mine to get in).
 
So I just received a set of OPOR sliders for my LE yesterday but it didn't include any installation instructions. Was hoping to install them tonight but haven't received a response to my VM or e-mail from metaltech4xr4. Included hardware is minimal but was hoping someone might have some pix or insight into how the brackets and the two different sets of bolts are supposed to go on so I only have to do this once.

ummm, I haven't received mine yet (called MT today and found out that I apparently entered the wrong credit card number when I placed my order on 5/18, not too sure why they didn't call or anything), but those sure as sh!t don't look like parts of any OPOR sliders I've ever seen

Thanks for the pics cbielat. I've narrowed down my selection to the Metal Tech sliders or the ones from OPOR. Decisions decisions :)
 
Thanks Jono. Doesn't appear MT has installation instructions for the LE yet but they did send me instructions for the TE and I was able to figure it out what was used where. The TE has one gusset to brace around a line that runs along the frame. The LE uses it on all four legs to go around the XREAS lines. I was able to get them installed, although it took me a while longer than I anticipated. Really pleased with the results though.
 
got pics of the underside around the xreas and some shots of them installed? also, how did you order? dimple die? tread? thanks
