Cool Pat. They'll look good!

I don't have photos on this laptop (so it obviously didn't happen), but you will love those sliders. Those are what I put on my '13 SR5, fit like a glove and still offer an adequate (albeit small) step to get in. Congratulations.

I just tried to order also for a So Cal delivery, price is showing as $650 before discount. Going to call them.

Not sure if there is something wrong with their site or it is also possible that you chose the Metal Tech ones not the OPOR ones (only ones with a discount).

Not that I plan on serious offroading and rock crawling but I didn't like the idea of losing even more ground clearance so I got the Trail Ed. ones and will follow the Antman side skirt cutting mod. Full pics will come when they go on!

Looking at ordering a set myself for my SR5. Are you going to cut or remove your rockers since you got the trail ones?

I was also considering Antman's mod. However, based on Skimrs' threads here and here with pictured measurements, it appears that the SR5 slider version hangs two inches below the rocker skirting, with still 11 to 12-inches of clearence below the installed slider to the ground. I measured tonight, and this is approximately the same clearence as the fuel tank, and more clearence than the front axle and bar near the exhaust. Unless if I'm missing something (and I very well might be, as I'm no rock crawler, just trail runner), I don't see a significant enough clearence hit to justify cutting the rocker panel. I also have short, five-foot wife, so a slightly lower step would be helpful.

I'd appreciate any feedback/comments if I'm missing the boat.

I ordered mine beginning of July right as the specials came out, recieved a few days ago.. i already had trimmed my rocker panels so i ordered the TE.. I noticed that it came with the XREAS brackets, and i dont have XREAS. Can't really play with it and check it out since i won't be home for another 1.5 weeks.. let me know how yours goes.

How much of your rockers did you cut off?

I cut about 1.5 inches from the bottom of the rocker, leaving about an inch below the chrome strip for the nFAB steps.. i test fitted and this still wasnt enough.

Now I have to trim a few more cm off in order to get it to sit flush

:thanks: Let me know how much more you end up cutting off in the end or length down from the chrome strip. Ill more than likely be doing the same.

I ordered mine July 10th and still nada! I'm gonna call them on Monday.

Put a pic up when you throw them on, and yeah if you have exact measurements on how much to cut it would help to do that part ahead of time!

Can't wait for mine to show up!

Yea, it might be a while though.. Im in the middle of moving my school housing. And the sliders are for my dads runner, which is at home. lol

MT4x4 also sent me one of those XREAS line clearing brackets in addition to the necessary sr5 things + 2 larger bolts.. im not physically there so i cant tell if its even needed yet, im thinking they accidentally packed it in.

Roger that, whenever you get around to it.

Ordered mine on the 11th, Amex not charged yet despite finally reaching someone on the phone and being told they had a set to ship.

Still haven't received my Sliders and am starting to get a little ticked off! My CC hasn't been charged and their website shows the same status as the day I bought it, "Credit Card captured, not yet shipped."

Called them yesterday AM and was told I'd get a call back before the end of the day and nada..... UGH!!

Hate waiting for something that I clicked "purchase now" on over a month ago.

Stay tuned.

I just ordered a set yesterday (SR5, Dimple Die Front and Rear, Powdercoated) for $488 (I am picking up). They said 2-3 weeks, so we will see. I got such a good deal on them with the 20% off, I won't really care if they take longer to get in, which is understandable because with that 20% off I am sure an insane # of orders came in for them.
