Optitron Upgrade?

Has anyone upgraded to optitron in their SR5? looking at the 2012 site made me remember how much I liked it. I Think you'd have to get it out of a wreck, new parts would probably be a fortune. Any ideas on whether the wiring is the same?

I searched but didn't come up with much, mostly just debates about whether is was worth getting or not.

a mod that is feasible but very cost prohibitive. Not worth it.

but I have no idea if it's a straight plug and play swap or more important if the odometer reading is stored in the gauge or in the ECU. In GM's of old (00 Denali)it was in in the gauge.
