I saw you talking about your 1 inch body lift in another thread. I'm thinking about a 1/2 inch body lift.

After I got the caster set properly the rubbing is a non issue for street driving. But it still rubs a bit on the passenger side during down hill bumps.

Yep no regrets on my end with the BL. Having more clearance is inevitable if we want to run a taller and/or wider tire. I went with 305/6517 but am on the fence now with going 295/70r17. Problem is no one makes a D rated tire in either those sizes in 17s.

Go 285/75 r17 nitto makes them in c and e load. I wish I would've

I just had installed a 3” spacer lift with longer shock absorbers in the rear, I fitted 295/70R17 Cooper STT Pro, I will do alignment today. So far no running except backing up at full lock. Detected the need of trimming lower part of bumper to get rid of it. There is no rub @ mudflaps

You will find out soon enough. I have done a ton of trimming and took my flaps off. Maybe/hope yours is different.

Also, on this subject...
What would I need to do to make 295/70's fit..
I currently have
3" lift over stock TRD pro, so 4" lift on STD 4runner.
Front bumper was cut at dealership
1.25" wheel spacers with stock wheels
Fender liner pushed forward 1" already.
No BMC at this time.

Currently running 285/70 with no rubbing.
