Yes the sunroof cover you're showing on the pics. will fit your 4runner as long as your sunroof is the factory one.

I paid about 90.00 for mine ship. included 5 years ago, and it was in mint condition so i didn't care. Now, it depends on the cond. of the one you're looking at and how much you want it, and another thing is, they are getting hard to find in good condition.

Got our cover in and fits like a glove! My only complaint is its blue, not grey like the described. Oh well 1st world problem I guess.

Working on the roof rack now. How much weight do you think the rain gutters on the cab can hold? 300-500lbs?

Edit: Oh sorry, you said "caB" (I thought you said "caP" = meaning Fiberglas shell.)

Hi Daniel, I would not trust the Fiberglas gutter on the cap.
If I were to install a full roof rack, I would mount T-channel/T-track rails on both sides and mount the rack on that. Would also help distribute the load better on the Fiberglas.

As much as I want a full length, I don't want to put holes in the soft top for the railing. So I'm just thinking over the caB. No specific need for it, but pretty sure I'll use it once it's on there.

For your cover, try finding some SEM interior paint. Its made for vinyl and interior plastics, you should be able to just paint it to the proper color. Same goes for any of the interior pieces, such as the steering column plastic cover.

I've used this paint exclusively in my truck's interior, and after 12+ years, its still nice and has not chipped or peeled away. Hard part is finding a paint shop that has SEM brand paints!

Nice! So using the spaces in quarter panels? I like that. KidV and I are thinking that, too. I happen to have polycarbonate sheets so I might just make custom ones, but painted black so contents are not visible.

Yes I'm going to use the spaces in back and cover the side panels all around with black poly. Then put what I'm making into that.

The best deal I could find online in black pvc. Going to make aluminum boxes to bolt to them and then bolt to the side panels. I'll post up as I go of course. Also I'm going to add locks, but my rig will be in HND so security is a bit more needed.
