Covercraft makes several styles of covers. I would recommend the 4 layer system. If I remember correctly, it was a "Technolon" or something like that. The only thing you need to be concerned about if your truck is sitting outside with a cover on it is how tight you can make it sit. If the cover gets wind whipped it will still scratch the paint. So regardless of which cover you go with, make sure it can be installed tightly. And don't skimp on a cheap cover. I remember a couple years ago, they used to cost $400 or so.

Just looked it up and it looks like they call it the "weather shield hd" now.

Okay thanks. I'll check that out. What do you think about the sealskin covers? Looks like they are having a Black Friday sale...

I don't have any experience with them. They appear to be of nice quality.

Whatever cover you decide to go with, just make sure you've got a fresh coat of wax on it so that it minimizes any scratches from the cover shifting in the wind.

Also make sure if it will be sitting on grass or dirt you put down a vapor barrier on the ground. This is good for vehicles sitting for extended periods of time.
