Outdoor Logic 3rd Gen Rear Plate Bumper spy thread

Any updates on the discontinuation? Or reasons? I've been saving for quite a while for this bumper because it's the only tire swing I really like, and I'm gonna be really upset if it did get discontinued before it even went into production.

4x4 Labs said via email, that the 4Runner build kit could be purchased just like the other DIY kits he sells for the FJ40, and 80. Shouldn't be hard to find a fabricator that can't knock out the welding and figment.

Outdoor Logic has discontinued front and rear bumpers for the 3rd gen runners.

I'd like confirmation on this as well!

Word on the street was that they were just having issues with their plate steel cutter. When I checked last week they told me to just keep checking back as they were expecting to have it worked out soon.

That said, the referenced site says its a test website. I'd call outdoor logic to be certain. Just saying.............

Thanks FJ but I really wanted a rear with swing out for the spare. I like some of the others like CBI but wanted to go with the local guys.

I wish I could find the spy photos from years ago. There is another member on Expo that has one but I don't recall his user name. It's high and tight, with a bevy of accessory options.

Is 80 rears are awesome and I would assume that all the accessories that fit it will also fit the 4Runner little brother.

Man I dig there stuff, expecially for the LC market. You mention you have seen any pictures of what they can produce for the 3rd gen T4R? If you can find them again please post them up. I was in for a Outdoorlogic rear bumper w/swing out this summer, but now going to re-evaluate the situation. CBI was the second pick but the 4x4labs is now a runner up.

I did some google searching and came up with some pictures of a couple of 4th gen rear bumpers from Luke, but they don't show up on his web site. Of course he makes a lot of cool stuff that is not on there. I may give him a call or email to see if he has any pictures of a 3rd gen rear.

If I get anything back I will start a new thread.
