Overheating Challenges - Please Help

Just wanted to post a follow up. My fan clutch is bad so I ordered a Asian replacement, and it should be here Monday. Thanks for all the help. See my other thread for the CEL solution.

Good to hear. OEM/OEM maker is always the way to go. Replace it once and that should be all she wrote.

glad you got both things figured out. while i guess your bosch o2 wasnt the issue(at that/this) time, it sure would of been had you left it in there for very long... youd be lucky to get 6months out of one with our trucks.

for sensors and electrical components stick with OE -typically denso.

"Whether or not gauge is reading accurate temps or not, who knows. However, I do know it is working percentage wise because results from all test have been consistent, not just a random jumping of the gauge."

Remember, what I learned is that the sensor that sends a signal to the gauge is and was working. It is the single wire sensor under the intake.
