My 96 with 241k I get 260 till the light come on that is with 265/75 16 tire before with the stock 235/75 15 I would get 220 till the light came on incorrect with new tires is 16.25 at the fill up of about 16 gal of fuel.

I have an Android (Galaxy SIII; ICS), which for reasons I'll not get into here, but I like better than iOS (I am a Macbook fan though). That being said, I've got a Kiwi bluetooth OBDII scanner with the paid Torque app. It's pretty sweet and can do anything that a full scanner can do. However, there is something wonky with the fuel mileage calculation, but I'm guessing it has to do with how it "measures" the fuel pump's flow rate... I am guessing it uses a linear voltage conversion to flow rate units (pushes up glasses by their nose), which is not going to be accurate. It's either that or some seriously bad math in the app.

Either way, Android + Kiwi + Torque was about $105 and has worked awesome for me and I think that setup (sans Android) should work on an iPhone

**note: there are cheap chinese OBDII bluetooth scanners, but I opted for the one with solid reviews instead

I also turn overdrive off for driving around town. I regained the mileage lost when I put the 285's on the Runner.
