The problem has been fixed, the brake rotor backing was rubbing the rotor.
I"ll leave this here incase it helps anyone in the future.
I got my OW 2.5" lift kit put on my SR5 today. Also I have Total Chaos UCA's
The truck still has the stock rims / tires (more on order)
23-3/4" front from center of hub
24" rear from center of hub
Front was 25" when i got it, so I lowered it down
Problem:
There is a noise coming from my front driver side hub / wheel well area.
At 40 mph its a quick whoosh whoosh
the slower you get the louder it gets
around 20 mph and lower it turns into long scratching noise. Think of branches scraping each other, etc. Not quiet.
At 5 mph - stop , it squeels like its the brakes
When I had the front of my truck lifted lowering the coilovers, I turned the drivers wheel and it made noise, the passenger side made zero noise.
I picked up my truck after close today. I didn't think to listen for anything until I was half way home (15 miles). The shop is closed tomorrow.
I'm going to take it to a tire / brake shop tomorrow morning. I've searched all over the boards and the net. Could be u joints / bearings / cv , i just need to get it on a lift.
Hope those guys aren't closed for new years eve.
Any suggestions / thoughts?
