Hello, I got a Denso 234-4162 and 234-4154. Which one goes before and after the cat?

Year, engine, 4wd, auto/5spd, Cali./Federal? Those are both o2 sensors, so they can be used in front or back, depending on the application. The only difference is wire length. Or you could just figure it out yourself:

Depends on year. Non-Cali. in '99 and '00, the only years cali''s existed, do not. All 4Runners '01 and after, do, all 50 states. '98 and before, do not, all 50 states. Last question I will answer if you don't post your info.

98 V6 4WD? and I do not know what happened to my signature..

4162 before the cat, 4154 after. Both are O2, no A/F in '98.
