Partznet is worst place to shop

....just a suggestion but maybe our moderators should investigate these complaints and decide on the future of Partznet as a sponser if they continue their negative actions toward's such a large group of loyal T4R owners.......I'm sure that other Toyota parts supplier's would ante up sponsership money in a heartbeat to sell to us.......

If you haven't picked up the parts from UPS yet I'd let them send it back to Partznet. Then call your credit card company and say you didn't get what you ordered to ensure you don't get charged a dime. Credit card companies typically are pretty good about returning funds.

Alexjet

I purchased a Valor exhaust tip and a cargo net from Justin on EBay in December. I was quoted $19.75 shipping via USPS, I made the purchase and found out that they shipped by UPS, who now want over $40 in brokerage etc. fees. The invoice came from Conicelli. I still got a better deal than here in Canada, but I am not happy with the UPS fees and likely would not deal with them again.

Re: Cocnclusion:

Originally posted by AlexJet I've contacted Steve Kauffman, Parts Manager. He IGNORED all my requests.
I've written a complaint letter and send it to Dom Conicelli Jr, General Manager and Donna Conicelli, Customer Relations Manager. Didn't get any responds from neither of them.
I've send this letter to Dom Conicelli Sr., President and CEO of Conicelli Toyota. This morning I received an email which stated:
"I am sorry for any inconvenience or additional expense that happened with your parts shipment. I was also told that there was a 10% off coupon that was used which means you were actually only charged you $34.85 for the shipping. While we regret that you incurred this expense, your request for reimbursement has been DENIED."

WOW, that is ballsy for a business. After reading this (AlexJet) if it makes you feel any better I cancelled two orders with them today. A good 200.00 dollars worth of parts and goodies... That is very interesting. I cannot believe a business would do that!!!
As a small business owner (assuming partznet is in a small business) you have to be cautious about people that are always trying to get something out of you for free; money, merchandise, what ever, but mostly money, and they are out there...but that is not the case here, and the owner still has the balls to write you back with that reply, man... I feel good about canceling my order, I think others here should do the same

Not sure if it this has been mentioned or is feasible or do-able but look for a better business bureau complaint... those can hurt, if they are a part of the bureau!!!

After hearing all of the horror stories with Partznet, I'm glad I didn't order my LED tail lights from them. $300 for the set isn't a good deal in hindsight. I paid dealer invoice plus 10% through a friend's hookup and saved a few $20 bills over the Partznet "special".

After 2 weeks of waiting, finally someone was trying to contact me this morning.

I'll be keeping you inform on the progress...

By the way, they also mess-up my order. SOme parts are missing and it was shipped to wrong address.

Another bad experience here. They sent me about half the shipment and I thought maybe they were trying to get a hold of the rest from elsewhere. Not until I emailed them did they tell me that they're not even going to try to ship it. Yeah, and they replied to me in all CAPS. Assholes.

wow, i feel better im no the only that got poor service. I am really sarry to say that. But, it is true you get what you pay for!!!!

You save a third of the price of the product. But you gamble to get your product and really save TIME/MONEY!! you also get a third of any respectable customer service.

it does annoy me to see there banner at the top^^^ I think we should try to get some active vendors to sponsor us. We should try to get some of the FJ vendors to help support us. There's ton of those and the parts are compatible.

Alex,
I hope this works out in the end for you, given all the time and effort you've put into it. Sometimes it's hard to understand why a business would do this to a customer. You did everything right.

Although I ordered once from them without incident (simple order..air filters, both engine and cabin) I will not do so again in support of you and to protest the treatment you've gotten. THe CAPS message really gets my gall.

Keep us posted.
