Herby's Blizzard Pearl White trail edition conversion
welcome to my build and adventure thread. 2011 4x4 sr5 4runner that was converted and then converted again. lol.
Thanks harper7 for the help! I had been planning this for some time and it's finally done. I must say this conversion has totally changed the look of my 4runner.
for those who are interested the TE conversion wasn't that hard, just time consuming. take off the old parts and slap on the new ones.
All was done in a period of 3 days with plenty of breaks in between including satoshi mod, blackout headlights, black out roof rack.
You will be needing a total of 28 parts for the TE conversion, all of which can be found on harper's write up:

you will also need the following plastic clips to hold the fender flares as most of them break off when removing the old ones.
12 orange - 75395-35070
20 blue - 75396-35020
Part numbers for the front bumper and front bumper brackets have changed, but if you give them the part number that harper listed they will be able to figure it out.
how much did it all cost?
Parts ordered through my local toyota dealer cost me around $2,600 with a 10% discount included. all in all the entire conversion cost about $3,000 including paint.
The hardest part of the conversion was getting the front fender liner off. Those plastic retainers are a PITA I decided to not waste my time on trying to reuse them and broke every single one of them off. cost me another $50 lol but saved me a lot of time and troubles. You will be needing about 30 of those PITA retainers..lol
At the same time I also did the satoshi grill mod and black out headlight mod while I had the front bumper removed which are linked bellow

6-1-2017 update: I debated weather to get a metal bumper or not and decided to tackle on a TRDPro front end conversion instead. june 2013 swapped out the nittos with 265 duratracs.
july 2013 drove 1200 miles and got me a gobi
7-11-13 added 4 6" KC lights
5-13-16 as it sits right now on OEM trail wheels and 265/70/17 bkg ko2 tires.
5-27-16 swapped out the trail wheels for TRDpro wheels 17x7
9-22-16 cvt tent and waterport and comping adventures.
