I have 1 1/2 cans of this stuff and am thinking about putting it into the T4R. It is speced as the power steering fluid for a couple of German cars, and the Porsche factory recommends it en lieu of the Dexron that mid-1990's 911s were originally shipped with.
Advantages of CHF11S:
Since it is a hydraulic fluid designed for power steering systems (and active suspensions) it does not have the friction modifiers in it that auto transmission fluids need. These friction modifiers are known to be hard on PS system seals over time.
It is a synthetic with a lower pour point than standard ATF, so the power steering works better at very low temperatures.
Disadvantage of CHF11S: Very expensive, about $15/liter at the cheapest.
Any thoughts, other than "thats too much!"?
