PIAA 520 ATP's installed

Can you explain the mending plate better ?

10mile - did you put a bar on the front of your truck ? It looked like it in the photo.

Wow, I'm surprised to see this thread come back to life!

jonz, I mounted the the switch on the dash. I have an '07 so I don't have the VSC Off switch on it, and I don't have the optional 115V either, so I had two blanks to the left of the steering wheel. Below is a pic.

Below is the link to the thread I used to install the lights and the switch. The part number for the Taco switch that I used is on page two. The switch doesn't indicate whether the lights are on or off like the FJ switch, but you can't see the switch when you're driving unless you duck your head down and try to look at the switch anyway. Plus, I wanted the switch to maintain a factory look and the Taco switch matches the rest of my interior lights closely. The part number is on page two of the thread.

resqd1, below are a couple profile pics of the lights. As you can see, they barely stick out beyond the bumper. Keeping them relatively flush to the bumper was important to me, but the hood needed to clear the back of the lights and I didn't want any chafing with the wiring.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
