Also, for what it's worth, I got the full 2.5in out of mine, which settled down to about 2.25in all around after about a thousand miles. Since mine is a 97 2WD 4 cylinder, it sat about as low as your 2001 when it was stock, so what you see on my truck is about what you'll see on yours if you go with the 2.5in lift.

Here's the pics. Please excuse the motorcycle in one of them, I was about to wash it and didn't have anywhere to move it since the garage was full at the time and I couldn't move the Xterra because I was doing a coolant drain and fill. Busy, busy day.

that's the funny thing I have them both sitting here I just haven't decided which one yet works best for my setup...I will post pics and let you know when I install what I chose

Finally LIFTED!!!!!! Thanks for everyone's help in this thread posting pics and giving advice, really helpful.

I went with the 2.5" and real glad I did, after seeing the 2.5" lift I know I would have been dissapointed with a 1.5"

I will post before and after pics once I get my new tires put and wash it up...

Only difference is I have air lift 1000 in the rear.
2.5" Daystars before my body lift.
