I loved the Duratracs I had on my Rubicon, thinking of using them on the 4Runner when the time comes...

I've had BFG's on my old wrangler for years. And when I went to Toyota I switched over to the Grabbers. I had them on my FJ, and my Tacoma. I really love them, they always wore great and there was minimal road noise. In the sand and snow they're great. I believe they come 10ply and I think 3 ply. I never got the heavier ones.

Can anyone comment on the ride quality using 285's and a Bilstein 5100 setup with stock coils??

Here is my 2015 Trail with 285/70/17 BFG KO2's on a 3" lift kit from ToyTec:

Nice rig. What rears are you running. I just bought the Toytec front and rear superflex springs with the 5100s and still deciding to go with the duratrac 265 or 285s.

cool. Thats the same one I got. Did you install the diff drop kit too? You have any more pics? Also are you running 285s? Is there a lot of rake?

I did install the diff drop kit. Yes, I'm running BFG KO2's in 285/70/17. There isn't much rake at all. Here are a few more pics:

Thanks! Nice, was planning to go this weekend but stayed away because the 40-50ft waves at north shore and heard traffic was killer.
Actually went up peacock flats last week and that was good fun as always! Kaena has been losing my interest due to all the boulders and flattening of the terrain. But will always be a good outlet to just chill.

Definitely going to need a lift to fit 285s but no wheel spacers needed.
I know others do for the nicer stance appearance but not needed in a sense of rubbing frame or BMs.
