Tires: Duratracs 285/75/17
Suspension: Bilstein 5100 front set at 2.5, Rear 1.5 spacer
No rubbing at all.

Bummer. After reading all the great results of no rub with stock TE wheels, after 57k miles on my 265 Duratracs I just shoe'd on a set of 285's. I can get one full turn in both directions before I rub the inner fender or UCA. I have a 2.5 Boss suspension with JBA UCAs. My guess is a wheel spacer will cure. Thoughts?

The spacers will cause more rubbing on the inner fender liner and body mount area. The JBA UCAs seem to be very wide where the chevy style ball joint mounts to the flat stock. That, and alignment seem to be your potential issues.

Yes, 3".

No spacers. Kings set at about 2 1/4" Lift up front. Only slight rub on the mud flap at the right degree of turn, not an issue.

Just got my TRD OR lifted and trying to pull the trigger on 285's with stock rims. I'm keeping my rims because I like the look with more aggressive tires, but I'm not sure I want to go that big considering the other issues and losses that come with them.

Any more photos you can share would be much appreciated!!!

Here you go. This is an OME setup with Spidertrax spacers. Those are 285 A/Ts. I went white letters out as I'm frivolously fighting the black wheel trend. Plus I'm a bit old school looks wise. Fender liners had to be moved and front mud flaps removed. I've been to lazy to mod the flaps to get them back on. Plus, I'm pretty sure I'm going to swap up to Kings all around. Waiting on my sliders to come in and waiting for Gobi to send my rack out. I'm thinking being that I ordered the rack a few months ago it should arrive for Christmas.

Still rubbed a bit after an alignment. Caster was set at 4.3 and 4.5 degrees. Trimmed the bumper a bit and riveted the mud flaps back.

Dang, that's a lot of castor compared to what I got with Total Chaos arms. Are you buy chance running Light Racing UCA's or what?

Dirt King UCA's with the Heim Joints. My best guess would be the techs talent or GAS factor. I was very clear that I would likely require more than 4 degrees of castor. The tech found a balance.
