For those of you wondering what the wiring looked like on the Entune radio.

I'm actually looking into adding a 5 channel amp and integrating it with the factory Entune radio, of course I'll be upgrading the speakers too. Has anybody tried the JL Cleansweep OEM integration module?

I havent tried the JL Cleansweep, but, I recently purchased a 2012 Limited with eight speaker entune. Sound quality was as bad as I have ever heard from ANY vehicle sound system. Couldn't stand it, so after only three days of ownership I had the folowing installed and couldnt be happier:

Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty Processor (probably similar to the JL Cleansweep)
Kenwood 5 Channel XR-5S Amp
Focal 165s speakers all around
JL Audio 10W3V3 10" Sub

I have all of the functionality of the factory system and a custom sound quality. While I dropped a ton of cash, sound quality is better than anything I have ever heard. Glad I didnt get the upgraded JBL because I would have just had to replace more of those cheap speakers...

I was interested in changing out my Entune HU and selling it (I posted a few weeks back). Help me understand something here based on your photos (if you can tell). Does it appear that someone with a 5th gen 4 Runner that doesn't have An Entune HU could easily install a used one?

well there goes my dream of retrofitting an entune head unit.

As far as jbl cleansweep is concerned, I looked at it but after reasearching ad nausium, I ended up with an audio control LC6i, however, if you are thinking about adding the JL audio XD700/5, it doesnt really need the cleensweep, it can accept the speaker level inputs directly, using special RCA cables.

When I can afford it, I plan on buying that amp and trying it first without the audio control processor and see how good it sounds, then add later if necessary.
