pioneer navigation wiring

Hi everyone

I have a AVIC D3 pioneeer navigation installed in my truck for about a year now, but the installer never conected the wire that reduces the brightness on the screen when you turn on the lights, you can see my face from a mile away driving during the night :bash: can somebody tell me where I can find this wire or conection in my truck, so i can conected it myself, thanks in advance

I located the wire from the nav but need to know where to connect it, in my truck

It should be labeled on the wiring harness used when the HU was installed. I'm going from memory but I think it is usually marked "Illumination" and is orange IIRC.

thanks for responding ,i have that one labeled , I need to know where to connect it in my truck, where to splice a wire or in the fuse box
